As the City of Seattle's Chief Privacy Officer, Ginger Armbruster leads a team of privacy specialists in the execution of the City's Privacy Program, following a principles-based approach to the City's management of the public's personal and sensitive information. Prior to this role, she worked for Microsoft on an international team of privacy specialists to resolve issues associated with multi-million-dollar marketing initiatives. Before moving into privacy, she spent the first 20 years of her career working in sales and marketing for Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Johnson & Johnson, as well as several medical technology startup companies.

Sadia Mirza
Attorney, Cybersecurity, Information Governance and Privacy Practice Group, Troutman Pepper
Sadia Mirza is part of the Cybersecurity, Information Governance and Privacy practice group at Troutman Sanders, and is also part of the Financial Services Litigation practice group. She provides strategic privacy compliance counseling, and defends, counsels and represents companies on matters relating to data privacy, data use, and incident response and investigation, with an eye towards helping clients avoid litigation. Additionally, she has experience with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), as well as various other laws concerning privacy and cybersecurity. Mirza's in-house background allows her to understand the issues and concerns clients have and guide them toward resolution in a clear and efficient way. She has worked with clients from a variety of industries, including financial institutions, consumer reporting agencies, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and data and analytics providers. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mirza worked for JPMorgan Chase and Washington Mutual Bank. Her ongoing interest in the financial services industry led her to pursue an LL.M. in banking and finance after graduating from law school.

Randy Sabett

A former NSA crypto-engineer, Sabett brings to Cooley LLP his extensive experience in data security, privacy, licensing and IP. Sabett has managed numerous data breach responses involving major retailers, financial and healthcare organizations, and on-line service providers. He served on the Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th Presidency and has been recognized as a leader in privacy and data security in the 2007-2014 editions of Chambers USA. Sabett is a member of the board for the Georgetown Cybersecurity Law Institute and the Northern Virginia chapter of ISSA. He also is a frequent lecturer and author, and has appeared on or been quoted by a variety of national media sources.

Howard Whyte
CISO Boeing
Howard Whyte is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of The Boeing Company and vice president of Boeing's Information Security organization.
Whyte, who started with Boeing in March 2020, is responsible for the protection of Boeing's information and computing resources globally. He manages the function's overall strategy and operation, including cyber controls; threat and identity management; cyber security services; security assessments, architecture and integration - enhancing the security of Boeing's products, services and infrastructures.
Prior to Boeing, Whyte worked for more than 20 years as an executive leader of information technology and security in the federal government, military and private sector.
He came to Boeing from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), where he was the Chief Information Officer and Chief Privacy Officer. He served as an advisor to the chairman, board members and senior executives on all strategic issues relating to information technology, including governance, investments, program management, strategic planning and security. Earlier, he was the CISO at FDIC and worked to reduce cybersecurity risk by implementing an around-the-clock security operations center and incorporating threat intelligence into security operations.
Previously, he led the Threat Management Center at Goldman Sachs, focusing on cybersecurity detection, protection, response and recovery on a global scale. He also served as the CISO and deputy CISO at NASA, where he provided direction and future vision on a wide range of information technology solutions for mission and corporate systems.
Earlier in his career, he was a senior information officer in the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command and the Defense Information Systems Agency; a telecommunications manager at Interim HealthCare; and an information management officer in the U.S. Army.
Whyte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Avi Rembaum

Jeff Dant

Jeff Dant currently serves as the Managing Director, Fraud Operations and Intelligence - Financial Crimes Unit at BMO Financial Group. Previously, he was the Director of Citi Global Consumer Bank's Fraud Fusion Center. He is responsible for the strategy and operations of the Fusion Center in the support of Fraud and Financial Crime management. Prior to this role, Dant served as the Digital Forensics Program Manager for Citi Security and Investigative Services Cyber Investigations group.
Before joining Citi, Dant served 12 years with the United States Secret Service in a variety of roles. He began his Secret Service career as a Uniformed Officer at the White House, and later carried several other roles including Special Agent in Washington Field Office, Newark Field Office, and Presidential Protection Division - Transportation Section. He specialized in financial crime investigations, specifically electronic crimes leveraged by Organized Eastern European Criminal Groups, leveraging intelligence and digital forensics in successful prosecutions, including the capture and suppression of the most prolific ATM skimming organization in the United States. Dant served as a Liaison officer to Europol's European Cyber Crime Centre (EC3), continuing the targeting of international financial crime rings.

Michael Geraghty is New Jersey's Chief Information Security Officer and the first Director of the New Jersey Cybersecurity & Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC).
