Named to that position in 2009 he was responsible for analyzing market trends and aligning the overall product portfolio to new market opportunities. Dr. Lindemann received his PhD from the Technical University in Hamburg-Harburg and holds a master's degree in electrical engineering.

Jeremy Grant
former Sr. Executive Advisor NIST; Managing Director, Technology Business Strategy, Venable
Grant is a managing director at Venable, where he works with the firm's clientele to develop growth strategies, identify market solutions and advise on policy impacts across the information technology and cybersecurity and government services. In this role, Grant utilizes his diverse background and deep understanding of business, technical and policy issues around identity, privacy and cybersecurity, having served in a range of leadership positions spanning government and industry. Prior to joining Venable, Grant established and led the National Program Office for the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC), the first new cybersecurity program launched by the Obama administration. In government, Chuck has received two senior Presidential appointments. Under President George W. Bush Chuck was appointed to The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as the first Legislative Director of The Science & Technology Directorate at the Department of Homeland Security. He also was appointed as Special Assistant to the Director of Voice of America under President Reagan. He served as a top Advisor to the late Senator Arlen Specter on Capitol Hill covering security and technology issues on Capitol Hill. In local government he also worked as an Auxiliary Police officer for Arlington, Virginia.
In industry, Chuck has served in senior executive roles for General Dynamics as the Principal Market Growth Strategist for Cyber Systems, at Xerox as Vice President & Client Executive for Homeland Security, for Rapiscan and Vice President of R & D, for SRA as Vice President of Government Relations, and for Sutherland as Vice President of Marketing and Government Relations.
In academia, Chuck is Adjunct Faculty at Georgetown University's Applied Intelligence Program and graduate Cybersecurity Programs where he teaches courses on risk management, homeland security, and cybersecurity. He was an Adjunct Faculty Member at Johns Hopkins University where he taught a graduate course on homeland security for two years. He has an MA in International relations from the University of Chicago, a BA in Political Science from DePauw University, and a Certificate in International Law from The Hague Academy of International Law. In media, Chuck is the featured Homeland Security contributor for Federal Times, featured cybersecurity contributor for High Performance Counsel on cybersecurity, and an advisor and contributor to Cognitive World, a leading publication on artificial intelligence. Bil has been in the IT industry for 30 years. He has been at the forefront of the Internet since 1995 and his work in security began in 1998. In 2007 he pioneered the use of the SAS70 coupled with ISO to create a trusted security audit methodology used by the SaaS industry until the introduction of the SOC2. He has presented on Security and Privacy in Canada, Europe and the US at conferences such as RSA, ISSA, GrrCon and the Cloud Security Alliance. Christopher L. Hills has more than 15 years' experience as a Senior Security and Architecture Engineer operating in highly sensitive environments. Chris is a military veteran of the United States Navy and started with BeyondTrust after his most recent role leading a Privileged Access Management (PAM) team as a Technical Director within a Fortune 500 organization. In his current position, he has responsibilities as a Senior Solutions Architect consulting on PAM implementations and reports to the Office of the CTO as an acting Deputy CTO.
